I had to test a PNP and NPN type of transistor 6 different ways with my multimeter leads. .Results were:
This shows how the material in each of the transistors is effecting how the current can flow. mostly happening between the emitter and collector.
The readings from your tests of the PNP and NPN transistors should not be in the same column as the polarity of the two transistors are different. you need to correct this and then explain your results
